Lokken, Chesnut & Cape is the only money management firm headquartered in La Crossse, Wisconsin. Our business is that of Private Account Management.

Who We Are Not..

We are not a brokerage firm. We are not a mutual fund. We are not a plan administrator nor a custodian for assets held. We have no products to sell. We refuse to have an affiliation with a financial services firm or to be compensated for anything other than our advice and ultimate performance.

Why Do We Do What We Do?

We believe in accountability. When we speak of "Performance with a Presence" we apply that literally. We do not believe a vendor of financial products can operate without the influence of an inherent conflict of interest associated with product placement versus product selection and performance. The position one takes as Investment Counsel is one of far greater business risk. We accept full responsibility for the investment direction and strategy we recommend. We find that servicing our clients, managing their portfolios for total return and advising them of strategic alternatives is both challenging and rewarding. Our compensation is not transaction-driven but tied directly to the overall value of our client’s portfolio. We have a vested interest in the growth of our clients portfolio. We have a vested interest in the growth of our client’s investment assets.

Who Are Our Clients?

Pension-Profit Sharing Plan Sponsors, Businesses, 401-K Savings Plan Sponsors, Individuals and their Individual Retirement Accounts, Endowments, Foundations, Trusts and Professional Athletes.

Why Are They Our Clients?

Because our management style suits their needs. We are not for every investor and no every investor is for us. We do what we know how to do best—preservation of capital, net total returns and growth beyond the deterioration of inflation’s impact on purchasing power. Generally speaking, our clients tend to be conservative and realistic in their understanding of the type of investment opportunities we exploit.
